Halloween Spider Cake
instructions:
Halloween Spider Cake
1 chocolate cake mix prepared to package instructions
1 large can of whipped chocolate frosting
candy eyes
thick stick twisted pretzels short size
crushed chocolate cookies in the food processor
1 small 6 inch panggangan proof glass bowl greased
1 8 inch round cake pan greased
1 whole chocolate cookie for the head
toothpick to hold the cookie into the cake
Mix cake mix to packaged instructions. Pour into heavily greased bowl half way and the rest into the greased 8 inch cake pan. Bake until middle springs back.
Invert cakes on cookie sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Cool.
Stack the 6 inch cake onto the 8 inch cake. Lightly frost with whipped chocolate canned frosting. Then add the crushed chocolate cookie crumbs all over it evenly.
Frost the cookie with the frosting, attach to the cake as shown using a toothpick to hold and insert in the front. Attach the eyes using the frosting as the glue. Dip each pretzel stick into the frosting, roll in cookie crumbs evenly.
Insert the first one as shown, then the next one as a triangle effect, the last down straight to make each leg attaching with frosting and adding more crushed chocolate cookie crumbs to cover.
Two in the front two in the back, you should have 3 pretzel sticks for one leg.
Break two tiny pieces of pretzels stick and dip into the frosting for the feelers under the cookie.
If course if you are really creative you can pipe some white web frosting on the bottom cake or just leave it plain.
